Page 10 Honda OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT Each Honda trimmer is built using cutting-edge technology and innovation. For example, Honda trimmers have exclusive ergonomic elements in their design, which allow for comfortable operation during prolonged use. And each Honda trimmer is built to be durable and reliable. After all, with a legendary reputation of quality and performance, Honda trimmers challenge the expectations of a job well done. All Honda trimmers meet or exceed Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resources Board (CARB) emissions standards. TRIMMERS 4-stroke Engines All Honda trimmers are powered by Honda GX25 and GX35 mini 4-stroke engines, which are among the lightest and quietest 4-stroke engines on the market today. But don't let their small size fool you: these easy starting engines perform even in the toughest conditions. Honda trimmer engines are easier to maintain since they use regular gas that will not require mixing with oil, which means no smoke and less smell. And Honda trimmers have fewer emissions than a comparable 2-stroke trimmer. Plus Honda trimmers are 360° inclinable, which means they can be operated and stored in any position - even upside down - without spillage or stalling. Quiet Line™ Honda's premium Quiet Line TM , available on all models, reduces the noise level by five decibels. And because Honda trimmers oŒer strong low-end torque, you can do many jobs at partial throttle, reducing noise levels even further. Built to Last A typical steel driveshaft can break or fracture when it hits an obstacle. So Honda engineers developed a series of cables and twisted them together to create our exclusive Flexible Multi-Strand Steel Cable. Available on all models, this innovation helps reduce vibration and helps absorb the shock of an impact when the blade hits an obstacle, like a knot in a small tree or shrubbery. It has a longer life than a solid shaft, oŒers the strongest torsional strength in the industry and it's much easier to service.
